G4G

G4G is registered with eBay

If selling an item via eBay, you can donate a percentage of you final sale price to G4G. If you go to the ‘Sell’ tab, then ‘Sell for Charity’ you can search for G4G and see our entry.
Every time you list an item for charity, eBay gives you a fee credit on your basic insertion and final value fees equal to the percentage you donate. So if you donate 50% of your selling price to G4G, eBay will waive 50% of your fees.

The yellow and blue charity ribbon will appear on your listing together with the G4G logo and mission statement, further raising awareness of G4G.

Businesses can also donate a regular percentage of their eBay sales to charity.
As eBay suggests:

  • Increase your visibility
  • Enhance your reputation
  • Give the hard work to eBay
  • Give what you can afford
  • Earn fee credits
  • Get tax benefits

Sole Traders: If you’re eligible for Gift Aid, the taxman will add 28% to your donation. If you’re a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim 25% back for yourself.
Companies: You can claim tax relief on donations to UK charities: just charge your donations against your income.
